What we collect. When you book on the website we ask for your name, your phone number and your email address, plus an optional note for the barber. The email is required because that is where your confirmation and its reference are sent. We never ask for payment details: at Belmirstar you always pay at the shop or, for the at-home service, when we finish.

What we use it for. Only to handle your appointment: confirming it, letting your barber know, writing to you if anything changes, and keeping the diary's history. We do not use it for advertising, and we neither sell it nor pass it to third parties.

Who else sees it. Only the providers the booking needs in order to work: the hosting and the database, and the mail service the confirmations are sent from. If your barber has connected their Google Calendar, your appointment details — date, time, service, your name and your phone number — are also written into that calendar, so it does not slip past them.

How long we keep it. As long as it takes to handle the appointment and keep the shop's diary history. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights. You can ask us at any time to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or object to it, by writing to belmirstar@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) if you think we have not responded as we should.

Use of Google data. The internal Belmirstar panel lets each barber connect their own Google account so that appointments show up in their calendar. When they do, Belmirstar requests the calendar.events scope and, only that, their email address, so we can show which account ended up connected.

With that permission we create, update and delete the events for that barber's appointments, and nothing else: we do not read the rest of their calendar, we do not access any other data in their Google account, and we do not share that information with anyone or use it for advertising, analytics or artificial-intelligence models. The permission is stored encrypted on our server and the barber can withdraw it whenever they want, from the panel or from their Google account's security settings.

Belmirstar's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
